Looking forward to Origins this year. Alot of running, just like usual, but it gets me out of calc for 2 days which will do wonders for my stress level, even if it makes returning to class that much harder.
anyone going to origins should keep their eye out for me and look for the awesomeness that is Windmill Games

It has been a long time since I have had anything to say here so figured I might as well.
So fairly big changes overall over the past few months. Quit my job at the bank so that I might return to school. After a 8 year or so abscence from school going back was not the easiest thing in the world. Started with 4 classes then dropped to 3 when I realized that after not taking math in 12 years, jumping into Calc II might have been a bad idea.
The semester is over now and things look pretty good. Most of my grades are in and it looks pretty good. Probably close to a 4.0. Would have been better but dear god do I hates me some history. Any paper where you need as many sources as pages to me is kind of stifling to thought. But yeah. Its done and Im moving forward to next semester where my hopes to remember calc I to get through calc II begin again.
For most of the semester I had no job, although recently that has changed. Was recommended to apply to the butler hill job that others on my f-list have and recently was hired, so decent pay, work from home, YAY.
On top of that have been working hard on the windmill games stuff and with a little luck will have our first book out in January and the big book out in June, in time for Origins. A lot of work, but with any luck it should be awesome. Hell we might be making action figures for them, but I can't say much more about that.
Gaming life has been hectic. Currently running 2.5 regular games, and 1 ongoing LARP, and probably getting ready to add more to that. Still running my long running Modern Day exalted game, my Heroes-esque supers game and an occasional 4th ed game, and the Dragon game, newly refocused and going fairly well.
Aside from that I spend too much time playing WoW, and rock band 2. Only get to actually play games about once a month, but Im kind of used to that. Always the gm never the player :)
X-mas seems to be on the way and with that I will be going home for the first time in several years for the holidays, which should be good. Have plans to meet up with friends for their Bday celebrations and go to get the greatest bisque soup ever.
Aside from that things are well if a bit busy. Looking forward to X-mas
yeah, now I'm just wandering and babbling so Im gone

Well it has finally been done. I have signed all the paperwork and finished the entire process. I am officialyl back in school.
I actually got accepted in the winter, sometime around December to go into the Masters os Math Education program, but due to me now hearing things back from them until too late and my own financial issues I was not able to get the financial aid and other parperwork in on time.
Despite my history of procrastination and putting things off, today I finished the last bit of it and signed up for classes. So yeah, no amount of dragging my feet or anything can stop me now. Now all I have to do is reteach my self pre -calc and Calc.

Drove to Chicago for a game on Friday and drove back Saturday morning.
Ugh
Tonight drove back home.
